The Meadow Lake Acres Women’s Golf Association (WGA) was founded in 1960 and is an organization of Meadow Lake ladies who love the game of golf. It is a social golf group that is open to all skill levels — whether a beginner or an experienced lady golfer. Membership dues are collected to fund events throughout the golf season.
From May through September, Tuesday is designated as Ladies Day with organized play starting at 8:30 a.m. The season opens with a four lady scramble the first Tuesday in May with the Spring Luncheon following play. Our biggest event is the Ladie's Guest Day Tournament the first Tuesday in June, which is open to members as well as non-members. There are several other events for members-only throughout the summer. The last Tuesday in September is designated as Field Day when prizes are awarded to the various winners of the several games and events held during the season.
