Hole #01

Men's Handicap: 15
Women's Handicap: 15

Hole   1
Par   4
Relatively easy opening hole but trouble lurks for the bold. This hole is drivable if you don't fear a hook (O.B. left) and can carry the ball the 250 yards necessary to clear the bunker guarding the left half of the fairway. You won't get in as much trouble if you hit it long right, but will face a delicate punch shot under trees and through mounds and swales while avoiding a small bunker by the green. If you lay up off the tee, you face an approach shot to the smallest green on the course. The placement of your second shot is critical as the green has some severe slopes. If the pin is in the front don't go past the hole. There is a down slope in front of the green that assists you if you decide to play a bump and run shot.
