Hole 13
Par 4 |
Fairly wide-open fairway that plays as a long hole due to the prevailing wind, invites the player to pull out the big stick. It is critical to avoid the deep fairway bunker on the left as only the best players can reach the green from its grasp. Trees on the inside corner of the dogleg will defeat those who fear the bunker. The green can pose a threat as it slopes to the front and back from a ridge that divides the green across the center. The approach is critical, as you must try to keep ball below the hole if pin is in front or middle and past the hole if the pin is on the back. A pot bunker guards the left half of the green along a chipping area and a large bunker protects the right front and side of this green. |
