Hole #05
Men's Handicap: 1
Women's Handicap: 5
Hole 5
Par 5
The key is to hit a right to left tee ball down the left side of the fairway that slopes to the right. This provides an easy second shot layup or a chance to attack the green in two without the need to challenge the large tree short right of the green. Water can grab a wayward tee shot or second shot if you get too far right. A bunker catches any short approach shots to the left side of the green and a grass mound deflects shots that are short right. It is difficult to get up and down from the grass depression left of the green as it is closely mowed making it difficult to land the ball softly on the green that is elevated 6 feet above you.
