Hole 16
Par 4 |
The golfer is faced with a third straight risk reward tee shot. A well shaped right to left shot from the back tees with at least 230 yards of carry will run to the bottom of a hill on this sharp dogleg left, leaving a 100-yard pitch up the hill to a large green. Failure to properly execute the tee shot risks ending up in an unforgiving fairway trap to the right or the large trees beyond. Overcook your tee ball and a lake lies in wait in the left rough. A tee shot laid-up to the top of the hill provides a good view of the green that has a very large sand bunker guarding the right side of the green while a bunker fronts the left portion. A sligh false front will repel shots to front right pin placements. |
