Hole #02

Men's Handicap: 5
Women's Handicap: 9

Hole   2
Par   4
This slight dogleg right is a difficult driving hole as the fairway slopes from right to left. Make a conscious effort to aim just left of the trap, as the back tees tend to cause players to line up too far right. This green has the most undulations of the original 17 greens still in use. The green is protected by a large deep bunker on the front left and mounds to the right and behind the green. A run-up shot is often preferred for right side pin placements. The back left side of the green falls away from the fairway and a tightly mown chipping area catches any chot that is pulled, so approach shots must be well struck to get it close.
